Christina P. Orsi

Building on experience as a catalyst for change, innovation and economic revitalization in Western New York, Christina leads the Oishei Foundation, guiding the long-term strategic direction and supporting and empowering our team to work with diverse communities, to change systems, and build financial prosperity for a racially just, vibrant Buffalo Niagara Region. 

Christina is driven by purpose and the firm belief that diversity can be our strength—that when we bridge differences and connect people, together we will realize the vision for a region where everyone can thrive.

With deep community involvement, Orsi works with diverse stakeholders, from nonprofits to businesses and government leaders to education and community organizations. As a lifelong learner, Christina seeks out opportunities to make discoveries, grow, and challenge the status quo, because when you know better, you must do better.  

I am inspired every day by people’s dedication to uplifting Buffalo’s East Side, often in the face of significant barriers, underappreciated, and with few resources. It’s the people—their kindness, love, generosity, talents, creativity, and commitment to community.
