Summer Celebrations

We are proud to reflect on the success of a recent event hosted by Lindsey Taylor through his organization Beau Fleuve Music & Arts. This special occasion celebrated the achievements of several remarkable individuals within the community who are making an impact in Western New York. Several recipients of this year’s Community Impact Award are connected to the Oishei Foundation—we are deeply proud of their work. 

Honorees include Dr. Mark Scott, VP of Philanthropic Support at the Oishei Foundation, along with an inspiring group of Oishei Fellows: Tiffany Torres (Cohort 4); Nekia Kemp (Cohort 3); Thomas Beauford (Cohort 3); and Daniel Robertson (Cohort 5). Also recognized was Catherine Roberts, Executive Director at the Resource Center, whose impactful work is supported through Oishei’s Capacity Building efforts, as well as Patti Stephen, a long-time partner of the Oishei Foundation and an advocate for racial equity in her role as Executive Director at Buffalo Prep. 

The significant contributions of these leaders continue to inspire positive change across Western New York. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate their achievements with the community.
