Gayle supervises all accounting and financial activities and grants management for The Foundation. She is responsible for analyzing financial reports and clearly communicating monthly and annual financial statements, as well as overseeing all financial, project/program, and grants accounting. She also oversees annual budgeting, administers and reviews all financial plans and budgets, and monitors progress in order to keep senior staff abreast of the organization’s financial status.
Gayle began her career in the cost accounting department of Trico Products, the company founded by John R. Oishei. She rose through the company to become assistant to the controller and CFO, and executive assistant to the president. After Trico was sold to Stant Corporation in 1994, Gayle remained with the new owner until she moved to the newly formed John R. Oishei Foundation in 1997. In addition to her role as Director of Finance and Grants Manager, she also serves as Board Secretary.
