The Foundation is seeking a full-time Director of Philanthropic Support

The Foundation is seeking a full-time Director of Philanthropic Support. This person will work closely with Foundation staff and people of diverse backgrounds, experiences and cultures. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to different situations, have a deep working knowledge of and experience with nonprofit operations and capacity-building, with a special emphasis on Board governance; a high degree of emotional intelligence and maturity; a commitment to and passion for the Foundation’s mission; an affinity for collaboration and teamwork; and familiarity with civic and community issues facing the WNY region.
A minimum of ten years working in or with nonprofit organizations including a minimum of five years’ senior management experience; strong organizational skills; hands-on Board experience; excellent communication skills (verbal and written); and the ability to collect and analyze information especially as it relates to nonprofit operations, problem-solve, and make decisions; and a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) are required. Experience in fund development and mergers and alliances are a plus.
The salary for this position will be up to $106,000 depending on relevant experience. The Foundation also offers a competitive benefits package. The anticipated start date is November 2021.
